Description
of Services: |
Amedisys Home Health Care provides psychiatric services to meet the home health needs of the psychiatric patient, to effectively provide transition from hospital to home with ease for the patient and family, and may facilitate adjunct therapy for existing medical patients with psychiatric needs. |

Cost
and Eligibility: |
Amedysis is an approved Medicare provider. A physician’s order is required to initiate service and an Amedisys Home Health Care worker will complete a mental health assessment to determine home bound status and eligibility. |
