Description of Services:	The Harper Center is a psychiatric hospital for persons 65 years and older who are experiencing complications due to a serious mental disability.
Location of Services:	200 University Blvd. Tuscaloosa, AL 35401
Cost and Eligibility:	The hospital is certified to participate in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Admissions are either through Probate Court Commitments or on a voluntary basis. Criterion for admission include serious symptoms for which outpatient treatment and/or other local community treatment has failed or would not provide significant symptom reduction to allow continued community or residential placement.
